Our Vision 

We strive for social and environmental respect and responsibility as much as possible. We believe that finding harmony with ourselves, others and the natural environment is essential to preserve happiness, peace, and life on Earth. Therefore, we provide socio-cultural, eco-friendly, and personal well-being activities that reflect those values. Through this accommodation on Mo’orea we hope to make a positive contribution to the world at our scale. This of course is an ever-evolving process as we learn and grow.

In 2020 we have been selected by the ADEME to take part at their France Relance project, with the aim to participate at the ecological and energetic transition of French Polynesia’s tourism sector. Thanks to this project we now use solar pannels, have more energy-friendly home appliances, collect rainwater, raise awareness about recycling and eco-friendly gestures, use less waste and have a better composting system. We continue on our path with our vision in mind to make from this place, more and more, an eco-friendly bed&breakfast!

We will be happy to share our lifestyle and enable visitors to discover Mo’orea’s richness. Simultaneously, we are looking forward to connect with people from all cultures to continue discovering the world and refresh our perspectives. Our intention and vision is to make from Fare Haurevaiti a place that fosters connections with the community, the natural environment, people’s inner soul, and life’s simple, joyful and meaningful moments. Likewise, we hope to support people in finding peace and harmony with themselves and the world around them.

The house and atmosphere 

This wooden house was constructed in 1982. Its design naturally regulates the heat and humidity, which is key in a tropical weather system. The construction reveals an atypical hybrid style between the local fare (house) and the chalet Suisse. Over the years however, many renovations have been made to give you all the necessary comfort while preserving the initial style and local atmosphere.

This accommodation on Mo’orea is located in the valley of PaoPao in a typical Polynesian neighborhood. It is surrounded by 360° of mountains, which offers an astonishing view as well as a direct access to the heart of Mo’orea. There, you will be able to discover Mo’orea’s pineapple fields, mountains and forests. Calmness and tranquility are also assets of this location, since the house is situated away from the main road and at the end of a blind alley.

You will find lots of cozy spots around the house to find some alone time or exchange with other inhabitants of the house – be it in the tropical garden, on the various terraces, at the pool, under the stars, or while participating at the different activities. As you might understand, our property is a home away from home, where we value hospitality. However, we also respect your tranquility and privacy.
